Lake Titicada and Its Islands
Lake Titicaca is famous for being one of the highest commercially
navigable lakes in the world. It is also famous for its
artificial island towns built by by the Uros people.
Islands in Lake Titicaca include Uros Island, Amantan� Island, Taquile Island,
Isla del Sol, Isla de la Luna, and Suriqui Island.
Lake Titicada is lcoated on the border between Bolivia and Peru.
