Atlantic International Balloon Fiesta
Hot air balloon festival held for more then 25 years
in Sussex, New Brunswick. The event features morning and
afternoon flights by typically more then 30 balloons,
a "Magic Moon Glow" event during which the balloons are
lighted inflated at dusk for a visual display, arts
and crafts booths, an antique car show, a parade, a horse show,
and live entertainment. Usually takes place in September.

Winter festival in Fredericton featuring huge ice slides,
a snow maize Lalbyrinth, snow sculptures, horse drawn
sleigh rides, and activities such as bowling, curling,
golf, and pony rides.
World Pond Hockey Championships
Annual tournament featuring a type of ice hockey
played on outdoor frozen bodies of water.
Takes place in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick.
