Avianca Costa Rica
Founded in 1945, began operating flights in 1946, and
was designated the national air carrier of Costa Rica in 1949.
Formerly known as Lineas Aereas Costarricenses S.A. (LACSA).
Headquartered at the Juan Santamaria International Airport,
which is near the cities of Alajuela and San Juan.
Operates scheduled flights to more then 30 destinations
in Central America, South America, and North America.

Headquartered at the Juan Santamaria International Airport,

The airline was founded in 1990 as Travel Air and it
received its current name in 2000. Nature Air was
declared a carbon neutral airline by the government of
Costa Rica in 2004. The airline is also one of the main
sponsors of the
NatureKids Foundation.

SHUT-DOWN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PARADISE AIR:
"Effective May 16, 2013, Paradise Air has ceased air charter operations
in Costa Rica and will no longer be able to complete further charter
flights. If you have a confirmed reservation please make alternate
arrangements for you or your client's travel. A representative
will be in touch to coordinate refunds or pre-paid charter
funds due your company."
