Altos de Chavon Village is a visitor attraction in the La Romana Municipality
of the Dominican Republic. It is situated on a cliff above of the Chavon River
and it overlooks the Dy Fore Golf Course of the Casa de Campo residential and
resort development.
The village is a recreation of a 16th century Mediterranean European village.
Interesting sites in Altos de Chavon include St. Stanislaus Church,
an archaeological museum, a cultural center, and a roman style 5,000 seat
amphitheater, and the Genesis Disco.
