This Montana ski resort is nearly 4,000 acres
in size and it is centered around 11,000 foot high
Lone Mountain. The Lone Peak Tram shuttles
skiiers too the top of the mountain 15 at a time.
Other ski slopes include Castro's Shoulder
and Big Couloir. In 2005 the Big Sky Ski Resort
joined with the nearby
Moonlight Basin Ski Resort for a combined
5500 acre ski resort with 25 ski lifts and more then
220 ski runs.
