the Virginia Gold Cup Races and the International Gold Cup Races.
Takes place at the Great Meadow Steeplechase Course

Hampton Bay Days

20 years on the Downtown Hampton waterfront
and historic district. Features free live
music on four outdoor stages, fireworks,
food booths, a car show, a carnival, and

Annual hot air balloon festival held on the 4th of July
at the Virginia Military Institute's Parade Ground in
Lexington, Virginia. Presented by the
Lexington's Sunrise Rotary Club.

Annual performing arts festival featuring
performances in many different parts of Virginia.
Virginia Beach Holiday Lights
The annual "Holiday Lights at the Beach" event
features spectacular holiday lights displays viewable by
driving on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, and accompanied
by holiday music on a free CD. Takes place
in the evening from mid-November through the end of December.
